Did you know?

Five- to nine-year-old pedestrians are more likely to be injured in collisions at mid-block crossings, but to 10- to 14-year-old pedestrians are more likely to be injured at intersections. More on back to school pedestrian safety.  

A pedestrian has a 90% chance of surviving a collision if the vehicle is going 30 km/h; those odds drop to only 50% if the vehicle is going 45 km/h. More on speed and road safety.
