Port Coquitlam man facing charges after firearms incident last week

A 51-year-old man from Port Coquitlam is facing several firearms-related charges after an incident last week.

The incident happened just after 5:00 p.m. on April 1, 2020, when police were called to a home in the 600 block of Prairie Avenue, Port Coquitlam, BC. The suspect was alone in the house at the time. He was arrested with the help of the Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team and nobody was hurt.

The suspect does not have a significant criminal history. He has been released on an Undertaking, with conditions, that requires his attendance in court on July 9, 2020.
