Community Police Stations closed temporarily for Covid 19 pandemic

Coquitlam

2020-03-17 10:40 PDT

In order to protect the public, our volunteers and our employees, the Coquitlam RCMP is closing its Community Police Stations until further notice and will be limiting services at the Coquitlam RCMP Detachment front counter as a response to Covid 19.

The closures are being made as a preventative measure and do not affect 911 service or calls to our non-emergency police line. Both of those services continue to be offered 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

Coquitlam RCMP Detachment open:

The front counter of the Coquitlam RCMP detachment (2986 Guildford Way, Coquitlam) will remain open but some services and hours will be restricted. Fingerprinting will not be provided until further notice. Call ahead (604-945-1550) to determine if your service is available.

If you arrive at the detachment when the front counter is closed, we have an after-hours intercom located to the left of the front door.

If you are exhibiting symptoms including fever, coughing and difficulty breathing, do not come to the detachment for police services.

Coquitlam Community Police Stations closed:

Both the Ridgeway (1059 Ridgeway Avenue) and Burquitlam (413-552 Clarke Road) Community Police Stations are closed until further notice.

Port Coquitlam Community Police Stations closed:

The Mary Hill (2581 Mary Hill Road) and Northside (3312 Coast Meridian Road) Community Police Stations are closed until further notice.

Always open for emergencies:

Coquitlam RCMP’s 911 line is staffed 24-7 every day of the year. Our non-emergency number (for less urgent but still necessary police matters) is also always open at 604-945-1550.
